Build skills. Make friends. Have a blast!
The Navy League Cadets and the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets are two not-for-profit organizations that provide fun, social, and educational experiences for youth. Navy League Cadets caters to youth of ages 9 to 12, while Sea Cadets is organized for youths aged 12 to 18.
Cadets participate in a variety of nautical themed training and activities, including precision drills, music, marksmanship, and fitness and leadership development activities. Sea Cadets have the opportunity to participate in nautical activities such as sailing, power boat operations, on-the-water communications, as well as opportunities to attend camps both in BC and across the country.
Our two Vancouver-based programs, Captain Rankin Navy League Cadets and Captain Vancouver Sea Cadets operate out of Her Majesty’s Canadian Ship (HMCS) Discovery Naval Reserve base in Stanley Park, Vancouver BC.
